Frikkie Enslin grew up in Middelburg, situated in the heart of the Witbank coalfields. He pursued his education at North West University’s Potchefstroom campus, where he earned a B.Eng degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Mineral Processing. After graduating, Frikkie launched his career at BHP Billiton Energy Coal, quickly rising through the ranks from graduate metallurgist to specialist metallurgist. In 2013, he joined Multotec’s Cyclone division as an applications engineer, where he further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a B.Com in Business Management. Now, in his role as Product Manager – Cyclones for Multotec International, he plays a crucial role in driving product development, optimizing processes, and providing global support for both DMS and hydrocyclones. Frikkie remains deeply passionate about advancements in coal processing and takes pride in training and mentoring the next generation of metallurgists.
