Dr Ramogohlo Diale-Boshielo holds a PhD in Physics awarded in 2021 from the University of Limpopo; she is a Scientist in the Advanced Materials Division at Mintek. She specialises in the computational modelling of materials, focusing on alloy development through density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD). Dr Diale-Boshielo also specialises in manufacturing technology through powder metallurgy processes and additive manufacturing (AM) as part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Dr Diale-Boshielo has published thirteen (13) journal papers, thirty-two (32) peer-reviewed conference papers and four (4) book chapters. With over 50 oral presentations at local and international conferences. Dr Diale-Boshielo has co-supervised one PhD, two MSc, and five Honours students to completion.
She currently co-supervises one PhD and six MSc students. As a Strategic Associate at the National Institute for Theoretical and Computational Sciences (NITheCS), she engages in interdisciplinary collaboration, and she holds a Research Associate position at the University of Limpopo (UL). Dr Diale-Boshielo is a panellist for international grant reviews, an active member of SAIP, WiPiSA, NITheCS, and AMRS. Dr Ramogohlo Diale-Boshielo's achievements include winning the Young Researcher category at the 2025 Mintek Apex Awards, being named a finalist for the Inspiring Fifty Africa Women in Technology 2023 by EQL:HER, and receiving a nomination for the TW Kambule-NSTF Emerging Researcher Award in 2026.
