EXPRESSION OF INTEREST OPPORTUNITY TO RENT A BOTTLING FACILITY AT MINTEK
Mintek invites expressions of interest from parties interested in renting and utilising an existing bottling facility located at its Randburg campus.
The facility, located at 200 Malibongwe Drive, Praegville, Randburg, is approximately 190 square metres in size. It was previously used for the filling and bottling of hand sanitiser during and after the COVID 19 period.
The facility may be suitable for a range of filling and labelling applications, subject to the proposed use, applicable requirements and Mintek's approval.
Mintek is seeking to understand whether there is interest in the rental and potential use of the facility. At this stage, interested parties are only required to provide an indication of their proposed use and relevant background information.

3. PURPOSE OF THIS EOI
This Expression of Interest is a preliminary, non-binding process to identify parties that may be interested in renting the facility.
It is intended to provide Mintek with an understanding of potential interest and proposed uses of the facility. It is not a tender, request for quotation or request for proposal, and interested parties are not required to submit detailed technical, operational or financial proposals at this stage.
Should the process progress, Mintek may engage with interested parties to discuss the proposed use, rental arrangements, utilities, security and any other relevant requirements.
4. INFORMATION TO BE SUBMITTED
Interested parties are requested to provide a brief Expression of Interest containing the following:
• Company or Individual Profile: A brief profile of the company or individual, including the nature of the business, relevant experience and contact details.
• Proposed Use: A brief description of how the bottling facility and available space may be used.
• Contact Details: Name of contact person, email address and telephone number.
• Viewing Request: An indication of whether a viewing of the facility is required.
• Additional information may be requested should the process progress to further discussions.
5. FACILITY VIEWING
Interested parties may request an opportunity to view the facility.
Viewing arrangements can be coordinated through the contact person listed in Section 7
6. NEXT STEPS
Following receipt of expressions of interest, Mintek may engage with one or more interested parties to better understand their proposed use of the facility and explore the potential rental arrangement.
Further discussions, where applicable, may include:
Proposed activities and use of the facility
• Rental arrangements
• Operational requirements
• Any applicable regulatory or compliance requirements
Any potential rental arrangement would be subject to the conclusion of an appropriate agreement between Mintek and the relevant party.
