Conference Terms and Conditions

Registration:

• All participants must complete the registration process to attend the Mintek@90 Conference.
• Registration is non-transferable.

Confirmation:

• A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
• Participants must bring their confirmation email to the conference for entry.

Changes to the Programme:

• The conference organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme, including speakers, sessions, and timings.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing to the conference organisers.
• Cancellations made by a certain date may be eligible for a partial refund (if applicable).

Photography and Recording:

• Participants may be photographed or recorded during the conference for promotional and archival purposes.
• By attending, participants consent to the use of their images and recordings.

Code of Conduct:

• All participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Harassment or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Liability:

• The conference organisers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the event.

Force Majeure:

• The organisers are not liable for failure to perform their obligations in case of circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of nature, government restrictions, or unforeseen disasters.

Privacy Policy:

• Personal information collected during registration will be handled in accordance with South African privacy laws.
• Participants may receive conference-related communications.

Sponsorship and Exhibitors:

• Sponsors and exhibitors are subject to separate terms and conditions outlined in their respective agreements.

Cancellation of the Conference:

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances leading to the cancellation of the conference, the organisers will make best efforts to communicate.

Governing Law:

• These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

• By registering your interest to participate in the MINTEK@90 Conference, you acknowledge and agree that MINTEK will collect personal information provided by you, including but not limited to your name, contact details, and any other relevant details submitted through the registration form.
• The personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of processing your registration, communicating with you regarding the conference, and managing your participation in the event.
