Prof Lwazi Ngubevana is the Director of the African Energy Leadership Centre (AELC) at the Wits Business School. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand. His career spans 17 years in the energy, mining, minerals, and water sectors. He has held roles in engineering, project management, and international and local executive roles. His diverse experience encompasses energy policy and legislation, environmental management strategy, as well as working for the world's largest water desalination company.
