Dr Siyabonga Simayi is the Programme Director at the Coega Development Corporation and a Technical Advisor at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Project Management Unit. He has seasoned experience in Metallurgy, Mineral processing and strategy formulation and development. He is the published author of the book “Application of Lean Management in the Provisioning of Textbooks”. Dr Simayi has served on several Boards in the public and private sectors and has sound experience at the Executive level. Having worked in operations for 22 years, he understands the importance of meeting specific goals and timelines and adheres to a high standard of work ethic.
