The MTC has world class hot and cold rolling facilities to allow for experimental rolling with an open gap of up to 34mm (Hot) and up to 20mm (Cold). We cover composition make-up and homogenisation, pre-heat practices, break down mill rolling procedures cold rolling and interannealing covering every aspect of processing from cast slab to end use product.
